We are a fast growing, award winning company, renowned for our technical innovation and customer centric approach.
We serve a growing list of extremely interesting and successful clients many of whom are themselves leading edge experts in their fields, winning business across all industry sectors.
As the online and eCommerce sector continues to thrive the vital specialist services we provide increase in importance every day. As this fast moving sector flourishes, so do our opportunities for delivering cutting edge developments to an ever expanding market.
When we’re hiring we look for smart, sharp people to join our team and provide the opportunity to develop expertise in this rapidly evolving world and build knowledge and contacts with the senior eCommerce teams at some of the best Blue Chip clients across the UK, from our Canterbury office. Overall, we hire mostly in two areas, Software Development (and student interns) and Sales.
Obviously you’ll need an in-depth knowledge of smart and clever programming, probably of a bunch of c++. Java, perl and python. You’ll have played a significant role, team lead or the like, on chunky projects. You’re a natural team player: communicating openly and easily with everyone from peer programmers through to managers and above at clients.
What ever role you’d be interested in: you’ll have energy, drive and determination to join a young, hard-working team and make your mark in a relatively new business field. The ethos of the company is to help our clients to maximise revenues by use of our innovative tools, a process from which we take great satisfaction.
We like to think we’re a team of highly proficient web experts, motivated by the need to innovate in this new market sector, and thriving on individual thought and expression.

In fact many of those who came to us first on placements got on so well they are still with the company today. Some of them are here today. Grab them for a chat if you want to hear about how that all came about and what was involved. Alternatively you can email us at hr[AT]scivisum.co.uk for more information or to introduce yourself.

When we are planning to offer internships we expect candidates to like problem solving, and well designed, well architected solutions, and to combine that with the communications skills needed to discuss architecture and analysis internally, with clients’ developers, or with 3rd parties.
