Key Features
The SV Monitoring Suite includes a number of products, designed for the needs of different teams, but which all use the same data and the same common language to provide a "single point of truth" to enable easy collaboration across the organisation.
All SV-Monitoring Suite Products:
- Use a single, intuitive performance monitor portal accessible anywhere via the cloud.
- Allow easy navigation, and live in-depth drill down as well as summaries and overviews.
- Are built on SciVisum’s unique approach to dynamic monitoring: including multi-page routes, that can ‘Do What The Customer Does’ for all aspects of site functionality.
The moment you log into the Portal, you get an at-a-glance overview of the status of your user journeys including availability, lost sales, average delivery time, if any maintenance windows are configured and what your cutoff, the maximum acceptable delivery time, is set to.

Intuitive interface design gives immediate clarity on how your applications are performing as time goes on.
Our Wallboard gives a clear, real-time updated view of your journeys. One click on any problem that arises and you jump down into our deep analysis Single Sample view for quick and easy diagnosis.

The summary live status view also provides direct links to recent errors for a rapid snapshot of your applications.
We will distinguish between critical, red, errors which cause a user journey to abort, and yellow warnings which will affect user experience of the site but not necessarily abort transactional paths. We even identify journeys which are taking longer than they should – with a cutoff time set by you.
See delivery times in perspective with our graphical displays, which give real insight into how users are experiencing the site, rather than abstract figures.
Compare journeys across different sites and brands easily with our Comparator tool, ideal for internal benchmarking and self-evaluation.

View a simple list of problems, durations and time of occurrence for trouble-ticket management.
A series of simple one-click views allow you to view the status of your applications in terms of delivery time and availability, and how these metrics affect revenue generated by the applications. Pick the timeline to view and the Portal will update the data for you.
View by day, week, month or quarter. We keep data for a year, making long term trending easy. Or, pick your own custom time period and the Portal will show you the information you want, comparing figures to the last and last two time periods of your choice.
View delivery time, availability and lost sales statistics in a variety of forms which put your web and mobile application performances into real terms – actionable information, not raw data, is what our Portal provides.

We can even monitor your rich media journeys. Get time to play, connect time and metadata in the same smooth interface with our media monitoring option which allows you to:

Our groundbreaking Lost Revenue, Opportunities and Traffic tool allows you to enter customisable curves of your key data, be it basket revenue, booking numbers or visitors per hour. The granularity of having a figure for each hour of the week provides a clear view of how much your application’s downtime is affecting your business.

The ability to view the opportunity cost of downtime by problem type gives great ROI potential as you see which areas of your application are costing you most, aiding in resource allocation and investment decisions.
Easy Email Reporting
Send email reports to anyone in your organisation, customised to show the data they need as often as they need to see it. A regular update on key information creates open dialogue between departments and a culture built around common goals for the business.
Tailor reports precisely to what is needed by setting core hours, excluding downtime due to planned maintenance windows and choosing which journeys and information will be sent.

Tailor alerting via both email and SMS to ensure it gets to the right people at the right time. Choose to have slowdown alerts, alerts for different classifications of errors, even alerts by specific component types or by different domains.

In Depth Analysis
For deep analysis and diagnosis of problems, our Single Sample view gives you detailed information on each individual run of a journey, including network timings and delivery time for individual components. For SV Real Browser, view the browser download waterfall graph with rendering time included, for maximum visibility of page behaviour towards the user.
Compare individual journey runs against each other at the component level to see the complete picture on performance dips or errors.

Use our Replay tool to see the stored source code and rebuilt webpage in the SV-Monitor service, or use SV-Real Browser’s screen capture technology to see every change at every click. As the Journey is using a non-synthetic browser the performance analyzer data for your site, confidence is 100% that any performance gains you've made are real.
Explore deeper into your user journeys and discover the wealth of information available for your performance analyzer. Compare delivery time to delivered page size at each step of the journey.
Filter and group detected issues by type, step, category, and even server name. Create your own custom filters to track specific problems and see how much these known issues are costing you over time.
Our inbuilt Annotations tool allows easy management of internal trouble ticketing systems, known problems and unscheduled maintenance or releases. Customise your categories list and facilitate communication between teams by including journey annotations in reporting.

Control and Configuration To Suit You
Our Portal makes it easy to set up host data for network metrics such as time to first byte and DNS lookup, and now you can even run trending for individual components of your application.
Our trending view allows you to zoom into areas of interest down to six hours at a time or even a single sample run of a journey just by clicking in on the graphs.
View entire journey delivery time, delivery time by step, or a choice of individual step delivery times to see performance varying over time and identify precisely where in your application performance issues are occurring.
Identify the core or peak hours for your application and choose to view all data 24/7 or just by core hours, to give a greater picture of when your performance problems occur and how much it is affecting your brand image.
Turn off alerts and exclude data from views and reports with our maintenance window tool, which allows you to manage your monitoring dynamically as your site changes.
