Technical Details

We Load test to a pre-defined level or Stress test up to the limits of the system.

A typical load test project takes about 28 days, from script writing to report delivery.

1. Once User Journeys have been chosen, scripts are generated and proven stable.
2. A bandwidth test is performed to check the available bandwidth.
3. Each User Journey is tested in isolation - increasing the load and observing the performance degradation. .
4. A complex test sequence is performed for each Journey including SciVisum's high simultaneity runs - where a number of virtual users perform the same action at the same time.
5. Testing with a realistic mixture of User Journeys helps gives a more accurate measure of how the system performs in the real world
6. Investigation work is carried out by the engineers that scripted the User Journeys.
7. Report and telephone debrief - all test data and results analysis is included in a tailor-made report.
