Who Controls The Past...

To understand customer behaviour, reactions and attitudes to your website, mobile apps or other online properties you have to experience those things in the same way that they do so. Scivisum's latest release lets you replay actual site selections and recreate dynamic user journeys as they happened.

Users are becoming more sophisticated in how they use the web, they don't type in single URLs to move around your site! They see and follow links and choices in your pages in real time. They behave like people, people who browse, consider, check, select,  re-select, which is all to to say that they don't behave like  'just a  list of URLs' monitoring software. They click buttons in a sequence of pages, or use multiple interactive components within the same page , and the flow of pages is important.

This is why ScviVisum's cutting edge monitoring is based around the concept of Dynamic User Journeys, the next evolution of Mystery Shopping. Testing and monitoring your journeys, selecting different items and options per visit, 24/7, you gain insight as if you were sitting on the shoulders, standing in the trolley or, with the session replay function, viewing the actual screen of the customer.

Our latest release allows portal users to interrogate any individual journey to see the selections  that were randomly chosen by the Dynamic User Journey for the sample you are viewing. You can use this information to recreate and explore the actual journey taken, whether or not it suceeded or failed.

This is of vital importance when investigating issues with the system - you can discover quickly whether or not the issue occurs when any choice is made, or only if particular options are chosen. This ability to focus in on the cause of an error speeds up the process of elimination and has applications not just for developers and web designers, but for content producers, inventory managers, eCommerce managers and for discovering any issues with third party content or components in SLAs.

Coupled with the Real Browser and Replayer functions this provides insight into real customer experiences, bridging the gap between analytics and usability testing and showing the real-time impact of errors and slowdowns on user behaviour and on the bottom line.

As well as viewing these reports within the portal itself you can downloads the raw data behind the single sample calculations should you need to perform your own kinds of analysis on it.

We have also rolled out the following upgrades with this release:

  • Increased flexibility and power in the error annotation functions.
  • Integration of trouble ticket systems URLs or other custom links which you can connect to that alert issue annotation.
  • Refined configuration controls for setting known downtime periods. for user journeys
