Scivisum is an established and growing company with an impressive customer base of household name companies across the UK: providing specialist technology services to support customers’ eCommerce technology teams, and head office online business teams.
- The role is home-based – from anywhere in the south of England, with 1 day a month in the office in Kent.
- The company focuses on building relationships and truly meeting their client’s needs – with a strong year-on-year retention rate.
The Role and Responsibilities of this Hunter role:
This role is focused on new business sales only – and needs a self-starter, able to work from home; and handle sales end to end: from lead generation, to development, to closing.
It’s a consultative sale role – and suits a candidate with a strong track history of hunter type roles. Strong communication over the phone, email and LinkedIn to quickly build trusted relationships is a must, as is an ability to engage with new people at networking events, and to manage meetings. A full induction plan will ensure you have the knowledge and support to succeed with us right away.
You’ll target the head offices of major companies active in eCommerce and making Digital changes; including B2C retail, B2B, finance, publishing etc. There is a CRM of warmer contacts that have worked previously at existing customers, or have had contact with us before, as well as people identified as targets. And the aim is to meet with their eCommerce CTOs, directors, Service Managers, Digital Project managers or Digital Transformation teams, to understand their planned online plans, platform changes and risks; against which services can be proposed. It’s a consultative sale, and you can call on expert technical help for discussions on detailed planning.
A strong contact network is required:
The candidate will need to demonstrate a strong network of well-established contacts that they can readily meet or gain intel. from, whether from experience of eCommerce, Martech, Supply Chain, Big Data or CX/Call centre solutions – and in the role will continue to build the network directly, and by the exchange of tactics with business development staff at other suppliers in the sector who may be able to make introductions – such as System Integrators, Digital Agencies and consultancies.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience in the eCommerce and Digital sector: with overall knowledge of the industry and how big companies manage their online projects and digital transformations.
The role is for homeworking after the first month induction. Induction will include certified training under a respected Sales Messaging program; which covers the latest approaches to ensuring calls, presentations and meetings get the most traction with prospects: through brain science understanding.
